Courtney is the lead occupational therapist at Treehouse Pediatric Therapy, and she is so thankful for having such an amazing team to work alongside. While growing up, Courtney had several opportunities working with children of varying backgrounds and abilities, and each opportunity she had only further solidified her passion for pediatrics. Once she discovered pediatric occupational therapy, she knew she had found her calling in life. Courtney loves that each day is different at Treehouse and finds true joy in working with each of her kids and their families and watching as each one of them grows. She loves seeing children accomplish new skills that they previously saw as challenging and the excitement it brings to the children and their families.

Courtney attended school at Saint Louis University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Science and her Master of Occupational Therapy degrees. Throughout her career, Courtney has had experience in the pediatric outpatient and school settings. Through these, she has had the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of various ages and diagnoses. She also specializes in performing feeding therapy and continues to expand her knowledge in this practice area. Courtney continues to seek out other continuing education opportunities to further expand her knowledge in pediatrics to provide the best quality care to all those at Treehouse.

In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as finding any activity to do outdoors. She also enjoys spending time volunteering through St. Sophia’s and helping foster kittens. Another passion of Courtney’s is travelling, and she hopes to one day make it to all 50 states and all 7 continents.

I am an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) at Treehouse Pediatric Therapy. My interest in OT started when my younger brother, who had a developmental delay, required therapy. I was inspired by how occupational therapy helped him and thought it was a cool job that could make a real difference in people’s lives. I love that occupational therapy empowers individuals to become more independent and succeed in their daily activities. I love working with kids because of their boundless creativity and unique perspective on the world. It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of their growth, helping them reach their goals through fun, engaging activities that foster confidence, independence, and a playful exploration of their abilities.

I hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from North Central College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. Over the years and during my grad school placements, I have worked in various settings, including outpatient pediatric clinics, schools, acute care, and with stroke survivors. I value client-centered therapy, collaboration with other disciplines, and building meaningful relationships with children and families. Outside of work,I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling to the beach, going to concerts, and relaxing with my two dogs, Lia and Finley.

Angie is a Midwestern University graduate with her Masters of Occupational Therapy. Angie has been practicing since 2016. She has worked in various pediatric settings including early intervention, clinic based services, and school based therapy. Currently, Angie works full time in the school based setting with elementary students. Angie’s areas of special interest are sensory processing and integration, and fine motor and visual motor skill development. Angie’s approach to therapy is holistic through play based interventions. In her free time you can find Angie going for walks with her dog and husband, baking, remodeling her house, or spending time with her family and friends.

I’m a new addition to the occupational therapy team at Treehouse. I graduated from Saint Louis University with both a Bachelor’s in Occupational Science and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. I chose occupational therapy because I’ve always known I wanted to work with children, helping them reach their fullest potential. Occupational therapy is a unique field that allows me to address everyday challenges children face while building strong connections with families.

In my free time, I enjoy attending Chicago sporting events, particularly Bears and Cubs games. I also have a passion for cooking and baking, with my latest hobby being baking sourdough bread.

Bryanna’s true passion is working with kids, their families, and collaborating with the therapy team to help her clients reach their goals and excel to their greatest potential. She believes in child-led therapy to provide a safe space to see what our kiddos can accomplish! Bryanna is currently a school-based therapist at a therapeutic day program. She has known she has wanted to work with kids since she was a junior high student volunteering one-on-one with children at her local library. She observed an occupational therapist who was working with her aunt and as a result knew this was the career she wanted to pursue.

Bryanna attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Afterwards, she spent time as a registered behavior therapist and a paraprofessional to gain experience working with children with a variety of needs. Bryanna then attended and graduated with a doctorate in occupational therapy from Midwestern University. She has fieldwork experience in outpatient pediatrics and adult settings and spent her research focused on the needs of neurodivergent students in a multi-needs program within the public school setting. Bryanna also received the Spirit of Service award for her volunteer work at a community-based setting for hospitalized children.

During her free time Bryanna enjoys reading on her kindle, baking new treats, working out, and traveling. Just this year she saw two new states and climbed four mountains! Most importantly, Bryanna enjoys relaxing and enjoying time with her family, friends, boyfriend, and german shepherd, Taser.

Iymen Bhanpuri is the lead pediatric physical therapist at Treehouse Pediatric Therapy. Iymen has been working as a physical therapist since 1998. She has worked in diverse pediatric settings including hospital outpatient clinics, schools, rehabilitation hospitals and private clinics. Iymen has treated a wide variety of children, from those with minor gross motor delays to more involved special needs children who have neuromuscular and genetic disorders. She also has extensive experience working with children born with torticollis. She is currently accepting patients in her incontinence program. She is one of a few therapists in the state of Illinois qualified to treat pediatric dysfunctional elimination (PDE). Iymen enjoys working with children that have gait impairments. She works closely with orthotists and doctors when orthotic intervention becomes necessary. Iymen has a B.S. in Biology and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Marquette University. She is also certified as an Early Intervention Physical Therapist with the State of Illinois.

Her areas of focus include: Torticollis, urinary & fecal incontinence, gross motor delays, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Spina Bifida, various neuromuscular diagnosis, other syndromes or diagnoses that may cause developmental delay, and gait impairments that may require orthotic intervention. Iymen lives in Lisle, IL with her two children and husband. When not at work, she enjoys cooking, hiking and playing with her kids.

Hannah is a physical therapist who specializes in treating pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction. A passion for teaching dance and a profound love of movement led Hannah to her career as a pediatric physical therapist. Hannah has worked with hundreds of children through her work as a teacher and caregiver, and brings her close personal experiences with children and their families to her work as a physical therapist. Hannah enjoys working with children because they grow and learn so quickly making each day a new adventure! Hannah received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University. Hannah holds a certificate in pediatric pelvic floor therapy.

Outside of work at Treehouse, Hannah enjoys teaching competitive dance and performing with a part-time professional dance company. When she’s not working or dancing, you can find Hannah at a work out class, reading a book, watching reality TV, listening to podcasts, making a craft, or taking care of her house plants!

Amy is a licensed physical therapist specializing in pediatric care, treating children ages 0-18 with developmental delays, orthopedic, and neurological disorders. With a deep passion for working with children, Amy’s journey into pediatrics began in childhood, growing up with young neighbors and creating lasting memories through play, games, and adventures.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. Outside of work, Amy enjoys playing the flute, which has been a passion since 4th grade, as well as painting, cooking, and engaging in DIY projects.

Jill has been a part of the medical industry for the last 20+ years. She started off with her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities for 8 years. Then receiving her Bachelor’s in Business Management, she worked for a national medical company as a Sales/Branch Manager for over 12 years. At Treehouse, Jill manages all the therapist schedules and works with all insurance companies on benefits, coverage and referrals. It is a priority that the families’ experience at Treehouse is truly the best it can be. She really enjoys getting to know the families and seeing the smiling faces of the kids every week.

Jill and her husband have 3 sons. Watching them all in their sporting events keeps her very busy. She enjoys playing volleyball herself and going on family road trips.

With over 15 years of experience in the Administrative profession , Nardeen Wanies is a dedicated Administrative professional skilled in providing comprehensive support to executives and teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through efficient calendar management, communication coordination, and project administration.

Nardeen extends her expertise in Treehouse, as a Human Resources Associate by working efficiently to deliver high-quality administrative support to streamline patient care and providers in Treehouse by working on Productivity Analysis and assisting in Human Resources related work. In addition, she is assisting at the Front Desk managing patient schedules, registration, and ensuring smooth front-office operations.

From Cairo University in Egypt, Nardeen got her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology degree. She also got her certification of Office Technology Information from the College of DuPage and Microsoft Office Specialist from Microsoft.

In her free time, Nardeen enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and friends. She also enjoys spending time volunteering through church in the Children, Senior and Accounting Ministries.

Lubaina received her Bachelor’s degree in accounting at Depaul University’s School of Business. Prior to working at Treehouse, Lubaina worked as a realtor. At Treehouse you will see Lubaina at the front desk assisting patients with registration and scheduling, answering questions about insurance, collecting payments, and ensuring, overall, that you and your child have a positive experience at Treehouse.

Lubaina’s favorite experience at Treehouse Pediatrics is seeing patients make huge strides in meeting or exceeding their therapy goals. Lubaina most enjoys interacting and working with both parents and children. Treehouse takes great pride in treating our families with compassion and understanding when they walk through the door, and Lubaina facilitates that.

Kim’s education is in Social Work. Before Treehouse she worked in a Chiropractic office.

At Treehouse you will see her at the front desk completing patient intake and registration, scheduling appointments, and assisting families with any questions or concerns they may have.

She started at Treehouse six months after the clinic opened, so she has enjoyed watching the clinic grow and offer new services to our families. She loves seeing the confidence and pride on kid’s faces when they come out of their sessions and start meeting their goals and mastering the skills they’ve been working on.

She enjoys being able to advocate for families and ensuring smooth transitions from initial phone calls, to scheduling, to working with families personal needs to make sure the child benefits from a fulfilling therapy experience.

Elainie received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology and minors in Neuroscience and Wellness in 2019 from North Central College. She is passionate about understanding people and helping individuals apply their strengths to help them flourish. You may recognize Elainie from checking families in at both the Woodridge and Batavia clinics. If you ever have any questions, she is happy to help or find the right resources to ensure your child and family feel welcome, heard, and comfortable with your experience at Treehouse! When she is not assisting at the front desk, Elainie is working hard to create a positive and efficient environment for the families and therapists of Treehouse by managing Human Resources related work, credentialing therapists, assessing productivity, training employees, and facilitating communication through vessels like our quarterly newsletter. In her free time, Elainie loves to make and listen to music, cozy up with coffee and a good book, and spend time with her family and friends (and dog).
