About Us

Our Philosophy

The focus of Treehouse Pediatric Therapy is to help each individual achieve his or her full potential so that he or she may lead a productive and fulfilling childhood.Ā  We aim to achieve our goal by involving parents, hiring experienced therapists and providing a natural environment for the therapist to work with each patient.

Parent
Involvement

We believe a strong bond with the parent is the key aspect to a successful therapy program. We tailor each child’s program to meet his or her individual needs and empower parents so they feel confident in continuing the program in the home.

Experienced Therapists

Treehouse Pediatric Therapy provides the highest quality of care by hiring therapists who are genuinely interested in the success and well-being of children. We empower our therapists to meet each individual child’s needs. Our therapists have a unique experience and skill set and continuously collaborate with one another to achieve the best outcomes for your child.

Natural Environment

We have cultivated a fun, loving and nurturing environment in which children will be motivated to succeed. The clinic is owned and operated by an experienced pediatric therapist and designed in consultation with other colleagues.Ā  This environment differentiates us from the large, informal corporate-owned or hospital-based setting.

Core Values

We will treat each child individually and support them to the best of our ability.

We will strive to hire the best clinicians available that display empathy to families.

We will always listen to our families changing needs and adapt over time as kids get older.

We will always respect our colleagues and collaborate to provide a holistic approach.

We will always be open to new approaches and techniques that help families.

Our Story

Iymen and Adnan opened Treehouse Pediatric Therapy with a long term vision and little capital in 2012. After both working in the corporate world for over 15 years, and being a small fish in a large pond, Iymen and Adnan realized they were both looking to create a meaningful, tangible impact that they could measure and see.

They opened Treehouse Pediatric Therapy in January 2012 with themselves and two part-time employees. The company has since grown to a family of 40 professionals. Treehouse is a company that has focused on helping children achieve their full potential and understand that each child that walks through the doors is unique and special in their own way. To achieve that focus, Treehouse works to find the best therapists, resources, and approaches to help each child.

Meet the Treehouse Team

Treehouse Pediatric Therapy, Where Children Climb to their Full Potential

Imagination and inspiration is strongest in children, and that is where Iymen and Adnan found theirs. Their daughter, at age 7 when they began this venture, was reading The Magic Treehouse book series and she explained how imaginative those books were. So she suggested that the name of their clinic should be Treehouse Pediatric Therapy. From then on, thinking outside the box and beyond the Treehouse was something Iymen and Adnan found necessary to help children climb to their full potential and reach their goals.

Treehouse’s goal is to...

serve the surrounding communities by offering the best possible services to families so they do not have to travel outside their village to help their kids. We believe in the old adage ā€œit takes a village to raise a child,ā€and we want to be a meaningful part of that village.

ABA

Kim Johnson
Kim Johnson

Director of ABA

Kim is a Licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over ten years of experience applying behavioral analytic programming in a variety of settings to help children with autism and other developmental disabilities build critical communication, social, and functional living skills. Kim earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has training in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior, pediatric feeding therapy, and skills-based treatment. Kim began her career in behavior analysis working in a severe behavior clinic, treating behaviors such as severe aggression, self-injury, PICA, and property destruction. After this experience, she immersed herself in community-based ABA where she focused on skill acquisition.

Her professional interests are similar to many others in behavior analysis — understanding and improving: improving the child’s understanding of the world around them, improving their ability to participate and access their community, and improving their family’s quality of life as a whole. She believes these can only be accomplished by understanding someone’s learning history and motivation for behaving the way they do. Her favorite thing about ABA is the incredible amount of situations behavioral principles can be applied to, but finds the most rewarding to be those that mean the most to the client and their family. At Treehouse, Kim leads the ABA department and develops the curriculum for our Treetop Academy and supervision programs.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants and cities as well as photography, outings with her family, and home improvement projects.
